Twenty-nine years old and still stuck on the same god damn level.

“The story begins with the arrival of a wedding invitation. The wedding of Tamara Louise Jacobs and Jack Smith.”

Corgan and Jimmy are BFFs. Their lives are filled by Tinder, Grindr, white lies, big nights and too many pints. Lawn bowls, Donkey Kong, wiping vomit into the shower drain. Unanswered texts, bad sex, moving back in with Mum and Dad. In the month preceding the wedding of Corgan's ex-girlfriend the two struggle to get their life in gear enough to even hire a suit.

FAG/STAG asks what it means to have a best mate when you're stuck being your worst self.

What’s The Show / ★★★★★

Barry Hill OAM

Both the actors give highly polished, emotional performances that begin as stand up but quickly dive deep into inner thoughts and feelings taking us on a wild ride!”

“FAG/STAG is sixty minutes packed with laughs, sighs and maybe some tears.”

The Barefoot Review

David O’Brien

Director Connor Reidy’s production is very subtle, cleverly paced, poor theatre in the tiny Fringe scale Howling Owl downstairs venue.”

“It is also very bloody funny; at times painfully so… That’s the achievement in Cooper and Pullinger’s smashing performances, ruled by exquisite comic timing, richly repulsive yet deeply engaging characterisations, and deft pacing by Reidy.”

The Clothesline / ★★★★★

David Cronin

Connor Reidy’s direction does an amazing job of telling these compelling stories with minimal movement. This makes for a totally intimate theatrical experience. The slightest moves are magnified by superb performances from both Connor Pullinger and Henry Cooper.”

“The CRAM Collective, Chris Isaacs and Jeffrey Jay Fowler are to be congratulated for this stunning work, a massive and strong contribution to new Australian theatre.”
